Micaf (Mica) is the mascot of the Macao International Children's Art Festival (MICAF). Its image is spirited and adorable, blending the unique details of Sichuan traditional face-changing masks with modern pop concepts.
The design features a base in the theme color purple, highlighting Micaf's lively and cute characteristics. From detail treatment and character modeling to emotional resonance, the overall design aims to spark audience interest and connection, thereby promoting the awareness and appreciation of traditional culture.

Cotai Pedestrian Zone • National Games Golden Week
From October 1st to 7th, the Old Town of Taipa will be transformed into a pedestrian-only zone 🚶. This event uniquely blends the image of Macao's tourism mascot, "Mak Mak," with the traditional Sichuan face-changing art. Each opera mask is a one-of-a-kind design, meticulously hand-painted by artisans, showcasing exceptional artistic value. The aim is to offer both local residents and visitors an immersive experience of Macao's distinctive cultural charm and diverse tourism offerings.
The North District Da Cadi event was held at Yiyuan. Inspired by the name "Yiyuan," we designed a unique facial mask pattern and invited a renowned calligrapher from Sichuan to integrate the art of calligraphy into the mask design. This creation not only highlights the theme of "Yiyuan" but also showcases the artistic charm of combining facial masks with calligraphy, further enhancing the cultural value and artistic depth of Yiyuan.
We have established Sichuan Face-Changing art as the brand's core visual asset. The design draws inspiration from the brand's background, identity, and color palette, refining and reinterpreting the classic facial mask motifs to create a highly distinctive and communicable brand symbol. This visual identity has been meticulously crafted and customized in detail to ensure seamless alignment with product characteristics, ultimately delivering striking visual impact and artistic elegance.
