The first native-born Sichuan Opera face-changing artist in Macau, and the only Macau performing artist to have received authentic Sichuan Opera face-changing training in China.

He began practicing at a young age and has over twenty years of stage experience. During his student years, he studied magic before pursuing a professional career, where he encountered and became deeply fascinated by the art of Sichuan Opera face-changing. To further delve into this art, he traveled to China for formal training, becoming a Sichuan Opera face-changing artist.


His performances blend tradition and innovation: while inheriting traditional techniques, he boldly incorporates new elements such as cartoon masks and customized themed masks. This spirit of continuous innovation and exploration gives his performance style a diverse and unique personality. He has been active on the Macau stage for a long time. In 2011, he became the first Macau native performer to have a residency at The Venetian Macao. In 2012, he participated in the opening ceremony performance of Sands Cotai Central. Currently, he is performing at the H853 Fun Factory entertainment town in The Lisboa Hotel, Macau. He is dedicated to promoting the charm of face-changing and contributing to the exchange of Chinese culture.

Guo Weilong has mastered the traditional art of face-changing. His skills include delicate yet powerful expressions, even with fingertip movements, and authentic performances that faithfully adhere to traditional forms. He has performed throughout China and abroad, dedicated to spreading the charm of face-changing and contributing to the cultural exchange of Sichuan Opera face-changing.
